With approximately half of the global population being under the age of 30, a percentage that is projected to increase to 57% by the end of 2030, we are witnessing the largest demographic of young individuals in history. It is therefore essential to emphasize the importance of instilling eco-friendly skills in young people to facilitate a fair transition towards a greener and more sustainable planet.

This will ensure that all sectors of society, including the youth, can benefit proportionately. This can be achieved by nurturing a new generation of Eco-leaders, fostering the development of essential green skills, and promoting an understanding of environmental practices.

To bring about this change, a comprehensive approach is necessary, one that integrates education, hands-on learning, vocational training, and collaborative efforts. This can be accomplished by incorporating environmental education into school curricula, with a focus on topics such as climate change, renewable energy, and waste reduction.
