A MILLION BEGINS WITH ONE. A lot can change in a lifetime, including the planet we live on. For better, or for worse. But we have the power to restore balance. Helping our planet is bigger than us, but it starts with each of us. Help us plant, protect, and restore forests by planting your tree today.
Objectives of the One Million Tree Planting Drive
1. Raise awareness about planting indigenous and fruit trees in Uganda.
2. Encourage planting initiatives in various settings.
3. Enhance food security by planting fruit trees.
4. Conserve local flora and fauna through collaborative efforts.
Why Tree Planting Matters
Trees play a crucial role in our environment, absorbing carbon dioxide, purifying the air, and providing habitats for wildlife. They also act as natural coolants, reducing urban heat effects and contributing to a healthier planet.
Our Vision
Laudato Youth envisions a greener Uganda through Climate Action Activities, including tree planting to create more green spaces and fight hunger and poverty through food security. By uniting youth, elders, and corporate organizations, we aim to plant indigenous and fruit trees for a better tomorrow.
