Our Laudato youth initiative one million tree planting drive aims at responding to the climate change cry of the earth and cry of the poor. The young people are poised to face the diverstating effects if they do not roll sleeves and take action. So, uniting for climate action is our goal. We can’t achieve this goal alone we need you and we need your help to achieve our target.
A MILLION BEGINS WITH ONE. A lot can change in a lifetime, including the planet we live on. For better, or for worse. But we have the power to restore balance. Helping our planet is bigger than us, but it starts with each of us. Help us plant, protect, and restore forests by planting your tree today.
Objectives of the One Million Tree Planting Drive
1. Raise awareness about planting indigenous and fruit trees in Uganda.
2. Encourage planting initiatives in various settings.
3. Enhance food security by planting fruit trees.
4. Conserve local flora and fauna through collaborative efforts.
