Last year, 2023, was when I joined the Laudato Si Club in my school, Divine Mercy S.S., it was introduced us by Teacher Daniel. The first time the teacher told us about the Laudato Youth and the Laudato Si Club, I asked myself what it was all about? They were telling us it was all about conserving the environment, the encyclical Laudato Si, SDG 13, the Catholic Teachings on care for mother earth so I decided because I picked interest to learn more.

I have visited some areas like Mabereganyinamwiru and Creator Lakes, such as Lake Saka. During these visits, I am learning more, and the environment care has become my favorite activity because of Laudato Youth Initiative, and most important for me is I have made new friends. To fellow youth out there let me tell you something. Let everyone join Laudato Youth for a better tomorrow and clean environment. The club is the best to join; new and valuable friends can be made.
